St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce


Attention St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce Members:

Thanks to a donation from Murphy Oil Corporation, the St. Bernard Chamber of
Commerce has developed a grant program for small businesses to re- open in
St. Bernard.  Your business must have had a physical location in St. Bernard
before Hurricane Katrina and you must have employed less than 100 employees
to be eligible for the $15,000 grant.  The money must be used to reopen at a
location in St. Bernard.  Upon acceptance of the grant check, you must sign
that if you cannot open your business within one year from the check date,
you will return the money to the Chamber.  Applications must be received by
January 15, 2006.    Once your application is received, I will call to
schedule appointments for you to get the check.   

This program is only for businesses that were members of the St. Bernard
Chamber as of August 29, 2005.
