[StBernard] Elevated Home

There is an elevated home on the corner of Cypress Drive and Peachtree Drive
in Slidell. Jimmy L. built that home himself after a godawful flood wiped
him out more than twenty years ago. The house stands on 12"x12" uprights
about 14' off the ground. It's really cool being eyeball to eyeball with the
squirrels in the surrounding trees. 

I first met Jimmy more than thirty years ago when he lived on Tulane Avenue
in New Orleans. We worked at the same Volkswaen dealership.
