NO one has said that the government has plans to compensate homeowners.
The reference was only to explore the potential implications of one
hypothetical solution.  But the question remains open that there is a lot of
discussion about a number of means of making St. Bernard whole again.  The
column urges patience.  Homeowners should not make haste decisions.  Wait,
just a bit...a few months...and see what happens!
