I just pulled up my assessment on my home at 6904 Royal St. in Arabi.  It is
incorrect as far as the water line.  I had water up to the top of my door
frames inside the home, approx. 7 ft in the house as my home is raised about
16".  My damage is 1-10%.  Does this mean I won't have any problem
rebuilding my home as I am gutting it and will probably sell it either
gutted or will come back in and have sheetrock installed again after it is
dried out and treated for mold. What is the assessment ratings used for?  My
next door neighbor had 10-30% damage and their home was just like mine on
inside, I saw it.  If all this is rated for the rebuilding process then I am
assuming this is a good thing, if it will affect my assistance from FEMA
than it needs to be changed as I have been denied the grant as I had
insurance, but my insurance only paid off my mortgage and left me with
nothing to restart over with.  Thanks, Christine
