My family owns a trailer park.  We want to clean our park out of the debris
so we can move FEMA trailers in for our tenants.  It is sad that most of the
tenants
lost most of their items just like me.  But if we have the facilities to
provide a service to our parish then we will provide it.  Most of the
tenants have been in contact with ua and gave us permission to remove
whatever was left.  We are trying to move as fast as FEMA will allow but we
need to move them faster so our people can move back in and other people of
the parish can move in the park and start rebuilding their lives as well as
my own.  I knew as soon as news got out that the trailer park owners were
putting FEMA trailers in their parks everyone was going to start bad mouth
us.  But think about it, this is our livelyhood.  We have NO income at all!!
just like the rest of the businesses in ST bernard that are up and running
so they can have an income.
Renting is our business and we are starving here.  I f we cannot make money
or any other business cannot make money then the parish will not have an
income to survive.  We are not as cold hearted as it sounds we are opening
our land to the people of St bernard so they can have a place to live so
they can rebuild.
I'm not coming across as being pissy but i dont want the people of St
bernard thinking we are a bunch of cold hearted people.  Lets rebuild St
Bernard TOGETHER!!!!!!
