Hey Westley,
 
The bills will not be mailed until the spring- that was an extension in the
session given to Ms. Vinsanau until June.  She plans to have them ready in
the spring and then once mailed by the sheriff's department it would then be
about 45 days after that the bills become due.  The plan is to find some
extensions plan for residents because of their locations.

Aren't property taxes due January 1?  Or are we getting some kind of break
from something passed during the special session?

The assessor will be completing property tax rolls sometime in the early
spring.  She has expressed her desire to reassess the properties and
anticipates the vast majority it not all coming in under the homestead
exemption level.  The assessments will be mailed out to addresses on file.
