	This is the text of the email I sent to Sen. Landrieu this evening.

	As a former resident of St. Bernard resident, myself and over 600
fellow 
	residents that I am in contact with are strongly in support of H.R.
4100, 
	also known as The Baker Plan. 
	
	It is our understanding that the bill will voted on by committee on 
	Thursday, Dec. 15. At that point, Rep. Baker will attempt to have
the bill 
	tacked on to the Defense Approriations Conference Report. In order
for that 
	to happen, the bill needs the support of the entire Louisiana
delegation. 
	
	Unfortunately, you are the only member of the delegation that has
not 
	committed 100% to the passage of this bill. Without your support,
this bill 
	could fail to pass the House floor and not even make it over to the
Senate. 
	
	I sincerely hope that you make a public statement in support of this
bill 
	before the House Financials Services Committee takes a vote on it at
10:00 
	AM on Thursday morning.
