Hi

I lived in Lexington Place on Florida Ave.  I had my homeowners insurance
with AAA through Eagan insurance agency.  I spoke with my Eagan agent and
asked if I bought another home in the parish could I transfer my homeowners
policy to the new house and the answer was NO. The agent also informed me
that they did not know of anyone writing new policies in the parish.  Said
maybe try the LA Fair Plan.  My question is has anyone that bought a house
in the parish since Katrina been able to get a new homeowners policy for the
house?  If so what insurance agency did you use?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
