>From the sound of your ramblings (or is it rumblings), I'd swear you

were Lynn Dean.

Care to be the one who goes out and has to make the decision on
someone's beloved home?

Step up.

****This is going to be interesting. Not once have I thought I'd side
with
Lynn Dean on an issue.

People who may not get an opportunity to decide/save their homes from
destruction. Knowing how slow answers are coming from federal government
to
pass legislation to help defray the disaster costs to St. Bernard
residents,
and so the residents have to make a decision based on uncertainties to
them.

This is especially true to those who have little money and are away from
their once loved homes. I suspect that each of the "voters" had some
sort of
"cushion" to fall back upon and found it easy to condemn homes of those
who
were of less fortune to quickly rebound on their feet. Most had little
to no
insurance for a reason: Many were living "hand-to-mouth", "day-by-day"
or
"home-to-work" with little luxury for additional expense of more
insurance
or were told they didn't need such or didn't realize (probably through
escrows, etc) that their coverages weren't escalating along with their
floor/homeowners fees.

Again, this is going to be interesting to tear down homes of friends,
parishioners, loved ones--knowing the enormity of the situation, rushing
them to a life of further desolation and financial ruin.

Where, or where does it stop, oh Lord?

Jer.
