The assessor has indicated that she will be reassessing properties and
sending out tax assessments in the spring.  She anticipates that the vast
majority of properties will fall below the homestead exemption.

Are we supposed to have to pay the full property tax amount on our mortgage,
as the property itself is only worth 2/3rd of what we were originally
paying?  Shouldn't it be reduced to suit the current value?  Thanks, Mudpie
