Can you all put a shaded map out so we can see exactly where all these
propsed locations are?  A picture is worth a thousand words.

First Phase Proposal for mitigation of residential properties that includes
the areas as follows:
Along the east side of Cougar Dr. and along the east and west banks of the
Guerenger Canal from approximately Patricia St. to the 40 arpent canal;
Along the east side of the Chalmette Vista Canal to include Village Square
from Patricia St. to the Village Square(Chalmette Center) service alley and
the corridor from Judge Perez Dr. to the 40 arpent canal;  the area north of
Patricia St. and the areas west of the Guichard Canal are still being looked
at.
Versailles Industrial Park adjacent to the 40 arpent canal from Paris Rd to
the Delaronde Canal and north E. Libereaux;
Along the east and west bank of the Delaronde Canal from Judge Perez Dr. to
the 40 arpent canal, primarily the right of way area on the east side of the
canal will be used;
Munster Blvd. and Bartolo Dr. from Judge Perez Dr. to the 40 arpent canal;
The 40 arpent-Florida Ave. corridor from Paris Rd.  to the Violet Canal is
being discussed as part of an expropriation project for use to build a
Florida Ave. expressway to Paris Rd.  This would not be part of the
mitigation funding, but a sepa rate project.
