Jer,

Here in lies the problem with your answering questions on behalf of the
parish- I know what the form says- I have been involved in the process the
whole way through. The fact of the matter is that my answer is not
contradictory but rather explains that there is an ideal to this process and
that the request would be handled "as best possible". This is the statement
that accuratley depicts the spirit of what some of the special needs of the
elderly and others unable to do this independently is. The idea is that
these crews will help as best possible- the signing of the form will answer
the litigous issue as it includes a hold harmless clause. The BOLD
LETTERING AND RED INK is to make the request known.

Additionally, I was answering a specific question by a resident about her
cabinets- confusion comes from others extrapolating that answer to a
different question.

There are many letter of the law and spirit of the law issues that underline
an imperfect process.

Jer, it truly disappoints me that because of the website issue, it seems
that your agenda has become to fire away and feed on the already frazzled
emotions of so many people.

We have so much to do, I formally invite you to come on down and join the
process- volunteerism is a really humbling experience, especially when you
receive criticism for it- but I will arrange for you to be out of the line
of fire. There are also some temporary work positions available for the
recovery process that you could apply for if needed.

Craig
