Right, but firstly, who is coming except locals? 3 friends that regularly
come canceled their plans I can put them up for free! They don't want to
spend their hard earned vacation depressed and there isn't much for them to
do, so can't say I blame them, they may not want to come back again.
Secondly, aren't most of the parades paid for by the individual krewe
members anyway? I don't mean to be a stick in the oil-spill (sorry, couldn't
help myself) but when Nagin said "This is going to be the biggest, best
Mardi Gras ever", I just thought "Where yat, Mayor?" We are still realing
from the aftermath and I guess my heart isn't in it yet. Mudpie
