As a recipient of this unwanted and crude intrusion and can testify to the
truth of his actions. I felt the power of the pen was mighter than any other
course I might take. Ron

Thanks ever so much, Ron, {as usual) for your fine report about parish
citizens both "egressing and ingressing" <G> the parish. Never were true
words spoken about decision making and especially making choices about
staying or returning that will haunt the citizenship for eons to come.

"P.S. The Parish President seems to find great humor in "goosing" people
with his cane. This is crude and offensive behavior that reflects
negatively upon the citizens of St. Bernard. As Parish President he should
always act in a respectful manner. He represents all of us and should
behave accordingly.

It's a first I've heard about JR and his "infamous caning of people". If
this is indeed truth and he misbehaves in such an undignified manner,
perhaps it is HIS way of subconsciously trying to tell people something with
his "goosing" technique. If I were the one to be caned, I will guarantee (as
shell-shocked as I am), my initial reaction would be place him back in the
hospital (for his inhospitality!). Class-clowning as a high-ranked official
is uncalled for and perhaps he feels he can do about anything as a
"lame-duck" to the next election. (On second thought, many of us could use
the money in litigation if it happened to any of us!).. Pitiful.

(Of course, if he did NOT do it once, it's an apology on my part.)... But,
we'll see if this gets around the parish to watch out for a "signature cane"
making its way around people's body parts like someone who has no sight,
sweeping the cane back and forth for direction..

Jer.
