"The MR-GO levee system will be about 17.5 feet high, said Bob Turner,
manager of the Lake Borgne Basin Levee District, the state agency that
handles levee maintenance and drainage pump operations in St. Bernard
Parish. He said Congress authorizes the height at which the Corps builds
levees. The 17.5 feet would be comparable to pre-Hurricane Katrina"

**What's this going to do to storm surges that are above 17.6 feet? Compared
to a 33 Ft. Surge which was reported, should anyone be worried that the
levee will go back to its original height, knowing MRGO still exists? Is it
tornado proof? FEMA proof or 100 Proof? Time will tell at the next
adventure/disaster...
