Kriste,

Yes, you can have both done. Sorry about the confusion.

Take care,
Craig

Craig,

I just a got a call from St. Bernard parish informing me they had my name to
gut my home. I told the nice man on the other end I had not signed up to
have my home gutted. He told me he had the paper work and was looking at
it. Well after talking with him a little while I realized he had gotten my
information from when I signed up to have the white goods removed from my
home. How did this happen? I told him to put us on hold for the time.
Afraid to have it gutted if it needed to be torn down.

Well today the very nice man called me back to see if we decided to have our
home gutted. I told him that yes that I wanted to have it gutted BUT was
afraid to gutted it. What if we decided to have it torn down because it is
not structurally sound? He told me that FEMA has changed it mind and will
let us have the home gutted and if not safe to fix we can have it torn down
free of charge. Craig - is this information correct. I asked him to verify
this. He called back and said he had this verified. I told him I had not
read this in the paper or on the parish website. Please help - need to
know what to do.

Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate you answering all our
questions.
Kriste Buck
