The businesses and commercial structures will begin being evaluated after
the March 31 date just like other properties.
 
The March 31 deadline is just to allow the parish to know which properties
need to be evaluated for further activity.

As I ride down Judge Perez, I wonder if the national chains (KFC, 
McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, the banks, the supermarkets, etc) 
have a deadline as well to decide if they are repairing or demolishing. 
I know these chain restaurants are locally owned franchises and they 
often just lease the land, so maybe it's not their decision, but that 
of the land owner. Does anyone know if businesses have a deadline to 
clean up or repair. I would expect these large businesses to have the 
financial resources to make a decision and go forward.
