[StBernard] Stinky, Smelly Items

Pat,
I have been lurking and reading all of these emails since day one. 
For some strange reason your's has hit a nerve.  I too lived in the
parish for a long time (28 of my 48 year life) and will find it hard
to ever call another place home. But as realist I cannot ever go
through this emotional turmoil again.  I have feared that I would be
living this nightmare for a very long time.
 I also enjoyed gardening and lost a collection of over 100 orchid
plants as well as a garden that would be easily classified as a small
park.  That along with my goldfish pond, family pictures, tropical
fish aquarium and of course my home can NEVER be replaced.  I will
treasure the memories of them forever.  I have decided to move on to
another state but I will forever miss St. Bernard and its people. 
Luckily for me my best friends who lived next door are now going to be
my "NEW" next door neighbors.  I hope and pray that all of you who may
make the decision to rebuild and live in St. Bernard again will never
experience this horror again.
