cpm,

I have heard from others that the best approach is to ask what the loan
officer needs to complete the application and then find ways to provide it
without compromising your application.

Good Luck and God Bless,
Craig

Regarding the Demand for Payoff Letter we're all struggling with.

I know the alternative to the payoff letter is to prove relocation is
mandatory.
For those of you whose home will be made green space, once that is in
writing you're home free. No more fighting with the mortgage companies. A
mandatory relocation will allow you to receive your approval amount in full.
No deducting your insurance proceeds. You can tell the mortgage companies
to stick it.

My question is, is being in the oil zone considered a mandatory relocation?
Does anyone know? I'm afraid to ask my loan officer. If he knows I'm in the
oil zone, he may deduct that from my approved loan amount. My approved
amount seems to shrink with each phone call. I'm tired of being honest and
losing for it.
