[StBernard] Insurance Endorsement Decisions/Sticklers

I paid off my mortgage with a personal check from our contents money.  When
I received our payoff letter, I faxed it to State Farm.  They reissued us a
check for the balance due to us THE NEXT DAY.  I voided the original check
that was written to our mortgage company and us.  I heard too many stories
that the mortgage company would hold our money and earn interest on it.
