It appears that the Archdiocese of New Orleans is getting a dose of its own
medicine! To the best of my knowledge, whenever an individual parish
suffered a catastrophe, like St. Louis De Marillac did during Betsy, the
Archdiocese of New Orleans would loan the parish money to rebuild, which had
to be paid back with interest. Now they are in a similar predicament, and I
would assume they are getting the same response from Rome, or whatever
entity they answer to. Isn't it funny how things always seem to come full
circle!
