I closed on my SBA loan today. Wells Fargo would not give us a demand letter
but they did accept my morgage deed as one. If it has a clause stating that
"all insurance proceeds shall go to the lender in the case of condemnation"
or something similar they will accept it. I also brought the insurance check
with both our name and the morgage company on it.
