[StBernard] Vista park makeover

Karen and I volunteered to work at the Vista Park Extreme Makeover this past
Thursday, and while we both nearly collapsed when we got home from all the
hard work, we had a wonderful feeling knowing this park will be a "beacon of
hope". It was unbelievable how wonderful this area was looking when we left
late in the evening. Please post an e-mail encouraging people to pass by the
Vista playground and to bring their children to enjoy it. Believe me, they
will be totally surprised! It will be a great place for the children living
in trailer parks to have some space to play in a beautiful environment, and
for families to hang out in a nice park atmosphere. New grass, plants, trees
and gardens were all replanted, new playground equipment was installed, and
a new gazebo was built. The program showing the Extreme Makeover at Vista
Park will be tel evised on April 6th., on Channel 6, I think.
