I join that letter writing campaign. There are plenty good places 'north' of
Judge Perez for good living which never flooded before. (Including business,
hospital, government, civic center etc ) This whole 'north' of JP angers me.
If anything that Florida corridor is north, and why would the feds spend
money on building a four lane if the area is being ignored and
abandoned????? Is it then still needed? Very contradictory proposal
statements here.

	   As a homeowner who lives north of Judge Perez in a area that has
never
	flooded, has a house that is structurally sound and built above the
1975
	base flood elevation level, I wholeheartedly agree with you.  I pray
that
	our parish officials take this into consideration before even
considering
	recommendations by any outside "experts". They know our parish
better than
	they do.  Maybe we need to start a letter writing campaign to them.
