Remember Gaby, that it could be a "voluntary" situation as to have the homes
above North (Judge Perez0 removed. However, that will be the decision of the
homeowner if he/she wishes it bulldozed. At least offer those others the
choice of beign in that magic number of cleaning the area down to green
space. Sure, keep the properties if you wish. But, it's to the advantage of
good folk to get relief, if not only to have their homes eliminated and
boughtout to the positive of getting funds from buyout to go on with their
life. However, it MUST happen SOON, so both sides of the buyout/stay
augument can be settled. Too much grief--not enough comfort at this time..

<<leveling/buyouts, there are equally MANY who wish it cleansed of
its petty
poison and given the opportunity to do so. The homes were damaged,
for the
most part, (until kingdom come as I can attest), has had oil
infiltrated its
space and left countless owners in a quirkmire who can't or won't
rebuild/restore that degree of waste. Pitiful, to say the lea>>s

Now WAIT a minute. Our house is NORTH and had NO oil as we are nowhere near
the oil spill area. My home is NOT damaged until kingdom come, it has no
structural damage other than broken windows, and my wood is cleaned,
sprayed, and treated. Smells fresh too. My roof still has a nasty stain from
a dead body, but that will certainly be removed too, although we try to get
the insurance to pay for the hazardous waste removal.
Just because SOME want to get rid of 'petty poison', I for one cherish my
house and property and wish to continue making it my HOME again. So if
anyone wants to bulldoze, sell to never be redeveloped, so be it. I dont
mind having less neighbors, but I dont think we should all be lumped
together as 'north' being petty poison.
We all do have the same rights as residents in our parish I would assume. So
please, dont kick us as we are trying to struggle upward again.

Gaby (wont give up easily)
