Although the state provided money for the famous architect/planner to study
Arabi, many of the comments and resulting recommendations will be applicable
to other areas devasted by the storm and certainly relevant to the
Chalmette, Meraux, Violet, etc.. I would like to urge everyone to attend at
least one of the sessions, now that they are all to be held in the tent
behind the parish building. Let your voice be heard, but also be sure to
listen to what others have to say. All the meetings and the work being done
by the team between meetings is open to the public, so you can always drop
in the tent.

I'm glad somebody had the wisdom to realize that it was not only
inappropriate, but also not convenient to the public input process to have
the meetings in a dowtown, N.O. hotel.
