Hi - Please take 30 seconds to help protect New Orleans and South Louisiana
from future storms and floods.

We all saw Hurricane Katrina devastate the lives of Gulf Coast residents.
But the storm did not act alone. The destruction was intensified by the
Mississippi River Gulf Outlet (MRGO) that sent a 25-foot high wall of water
speeding into New Orleans. For years, locals had pleaded for this
destructive navigation channel to be closed, arguing that the MRGO would
allow storm surges into the city. This was exactly what happened during
Hurricane Katrina, and what will happen again if the MRGO remains open. 

We need your help now. Take action today, and ask Congress to protect the
citizens of Louisiana by closing the MRGO!
