Wendy,

Just wanted to let you know that they are no longer giving specific dates as
to when the volunteers will come gut your house.  Instead you will receive a
call from the disaster recovery group that states -  "some time in the next
2 weeks volunteers will gut your home". They told us that they cannot give
specific timeframes or dates anymore. Unfortunately this means that many of
the volunteers will not get thanked in person by the homeowners, especially
if the homeowner is now living in another area - out of state.  I hope the
people in charge of the organization of the voluteer gutting program is
telling the volunteers why the homeowners are not there - so they are not
disappointed or disheartened.
