Metarie? No way. We liked the wide open spaces down the road and fishing.
Every city eventually spreads out and St. Bernard seemed like uncharted
territory to enjoy now and stake a claim for our future before things

Oh Gosh, If you moved to St. Bernard hoping it would grow into a
sprawling
suburb of New Orleans, you really moved to the wrong place. There is
no
more land for growth for one thing because of the way it is
situated, it's
location I mean. Your should have moved to Metairie if you were
looking for
that. The way St. Bernard is, small town feel, is the reason why
most of us
are here, that's the goldmine, the charm.
