CHALMETTE, La. (AP) - There are now just under 20,000 residents back in
Bernard Parish, along with several thousand temporary workers and
volunteers, parish president Henry "Junior" Rodriguez said.

If that's the case, I can see no reason NOT to have a grocery store there.
That's the size of a small town.

Same goes for phones, cable, etc. IF Cox can't get their act together, then
why not disolve whatever contractural obligations the Parish has with them?
Apparently Waste Mgt. felt comfortable doing that to us. As for phone
service, there's always (or was) GTE.
