It would be nice and even helpful if we knew how many "residents" are
actually back in the parish. Padding the numbers with workers who don't even
live in the parish is nothing less than deceitful. 
Lack of concrete answers has discouraged some,if not many, from returning.
Some months ago Steve Fecke expressed his disappointment because of a lack
of answers to reasonable questions. The Jubilee store was fast becoming a
mainstay in the parish as K&B,McKenzie's and Schwegmann Bros. were. Mr.
Fecke originally planned to re-open but lost confidence in the
powers-that-be.
How many more good people will leave the parish  before someone stands up to
make real decisions and imparts reliable information. 
The clock is ticking and there is little if any time left to correct a
"shrug my shoulders"
attitude by too many parish officials.
