Academic Adventures Summer Day Camps



The deadline for enrollment for each camp is 2 weeks prior to the start of
the camp. A minimum of 20 campers is required.. For information about the

Go Wild!

Leap into the wild with Gizabelle on an awesome adventure!
Explore the strange and amazing world of some of the most extreme animals
and plants. From fossils to frogs, squids to snakes, we are going to
discover what makes animal tick. Assemble your own naturalist field kit to
explore the world outside your door,. Get Ready to go wild!



Where: Southeastern's Lab School -- and also -- Where: Livingston
Literacy &

Campers: Grades 1-7
Technology Center

When: June 12 - 16
When: July 24 - 28

Time: 9:30am to 3:30 pm

Cost: $185



Child care from 7:30am to 5:30 pm for an additional $15.

Children Bring: 2 snacks and lunch, sunscreen, tennis shoes, and a change
of clothes



Space and Rockets '06

Join a mission through space in an amazing journey to the stars!
Ready the high-flying, solid-fueled Razor rocket for Launch day and watch it
return with parachute recovery! Make a working telescope and chart the
worlds of the solar system. Explore the secrets of the Red Planet, create a
motorized K'nex Mars Rover, touch a falling star, and more in Science
Adventures' spectacular space adventure!

Campers: Grades 1-7

When: June 26 - 30

Time: 9:30am to 3:30 pm

Cost: $185

Child care from 7:30am to 5:30 pm for an additional $15.

Children Bring: 2 snacks and lunch



Spanish

Foreign languages are easy to learn! No previous exposure is
required. Campers will participate in cultural activities such as dancing,
singing, arts and crafts, conversation, games, outdoor activities, and
talent shows to stimulate their interest in foreign languages. Our
instructors are fluent in their native tongue and are excited to share their
cultural knowledge with your child.

Livingston Literacy &

Campers: Grades 1-6
Technology Center

When: June 19 - 23
When: June 12 - 16

Time: 9:30am to 3:30 pm

Cost: $140

Child care from 7:30am to 5:30 pm for an additional $15.

Children Bring: 2 snacks and lunch, smock for painting, change of clothes,
towel, folder (to take things home), sneakers, suntan lotion, hats (for the
sun).



Physics Grand Prix

Build and race a wheelie racer! Ready! Set! Go! Hang on for
an exciting ride of discovery through the world of physics. Rev up and
build Gizmo's "Wheelie Racer." Able to speed on two wheels or four, this
electric race car takes the pole position for race day. Stay in the physics
garage and conquer air power by building a working electric hovercraft.
Explore flight, motors, magnetic slime and more. This is one wild ride you
don't want to miss!

When: July 17 - 21

Time: 9:30am to 3:30 pm

International Languages

Gizmo's Robots

Gizmo is at it again, working hard to design a brand-new walking
K'nex robot. Take a robot's-eye view as we see in 3-D, listen with
electronic ears, and prepare to compete in the Robo-Olympics. Build
Katzilla, a robot with a motor you build from scratch. Create a crazy
invention and dance with marionettes to revewl hoe robots are changing the
face of our world. Power up for fun and discover the secret lives of
extreme machines.

Time: 9:30am to 3:30 pm
