Oh, I don't think you're a dunce! However, after calling FEMA, they said
that they would immediately send a new set of checks and no questions asked.

BTW, they also told me (although it's nowhere printed on the checks) that
there's a SIX month life of their checks.

Sorry Geraldo,  I saw on your post that you said the flood insurance check
had no "expire" date.  I'm a dunce.
