I talked with the State today about granting additional time to file
personal and business taxes beyond August 28th. Their response...not yet.
They are researching the subject to see if they will follow suit with the
Federal government.

As an aside, please note that the IRS is giving more time to "file" the
return but not more time to "pay" the taxes, if any are due. Although those
who are claiming their losses will record minimal taxes to none in the year
that the losses are claimed. Those who have not filed their 2004 returns,
are not using that year to claim the losses, are legitimately on extension
and owe taxes will have until August 28th to pay the tax liability to avoid
penalties and interest.
