i do know that back in i believe 1995, fema did some rezoning of certain
areas and they added the "X"
zone.  "X" zones (also, "X-500 zones) are zones where it is not mandatory to
carry flood insurance, as in "B" and "C" zones.  i do not know if this helps
you are not, just what i know about those zones.  call your insurance
carrier and ask them, they should be able to help.
