CB, Westley, Craig - anyone on PropertyTaxes -

I agree with you - in April we talked with Tax Assessor herself - Vinsanou
sp? (and then again in June to the people in her office). 

She was going to try her hardest to have NO property taxes, as you said and
she said - "all properties were totally destroyed - How can you pay taxes on
this destruction?"

Tax bills were supposed to come out/mailed end of May - since we have
relocated and in those (2) visits we made sure they had our new address.  We
still have not received anything.  We definitely don't want to lose (2)
homes because of delinquent taxes.   Only the rich get richer on someone
elses misfortunes.  And it is, has been and still, the middle class, hard
working people who keeps this whole GOOD OLE USA GOING!  HAPPY & SAFE JULY
4TH TO EVERYONE.

Can anyone out there in da parish please tell us if these property tax
statements are available and when are they due?  Thank You So Much!!!!  I
have looked on the da parish gov website and don't see the "tax office" site
out there.  Maybe I can't see the forest for the trees!
