[StBernard] Question: bakeries in the parish

Flour Power on Paris Road used to have extraordinary cakes. I know it's open
but I haven't been in to see if they're making cakes again.

If (and hopefully) we get back to the parish before August 8th, that will be
my Mom's 81st birthday.  I would like to get her a very special cake for
that day.

I remember for her 80th (what...20 days before Katrina?) I had gotten her a
Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake and a dozen roses.  I got pics of that with my
new digital camera and still have the memory cards.  Why I decided to take
that with the card is beyond me except it cost me several hundreds of
dollars!!

I thought the 80th birthday was a milestone and since she will probably make
her 81st I'd like to do something really nice for her.  Especially after
this horrific year.

If ya'll have suggestions for a bakery I'd appreciate it.
