St. Bernard Parish library to receive federal recovery money

The federal government has earmarked $3.48 million to help restore the St.
Bernard Parish public library, a news release from state Sen. Walter Boasso
says.

The money is to cover contents only, including books, multi media, office,
library supplies, computers and various library related software. The work
will be performed by contract, according to the news release, which was
posted to St. Bernard Parish government's website, www.sbpg.net
