If I might comment, being from the District C affects me as well, Rena.

Concerning our area, how many times WERE we told the truth? When we were
(and I'm trying to recall when), we were penalized because we chose to live
in eastern Chalmette. I suppose that you can make a comparison here as a
select group of St. Bernard Citizens who are being Chastized, Ostrasized and
Penalized.

It would be interesting to find out if this area oulined by the extended
Murphy's map of Jacob, 40 Arp, Paris and st. Bernard Hwy's is a leading
taboo in the parish with less per capita living/coming back?

If one had to surmise as to which area in St. Bernard is the most
progressive in recovery and which one is least (regressive/dormant), which
one would it be?

Craig,

In viewing the Demolished List on the Parish Website, I noticed that not one
single house in Council District C has been demolished. Am I to assume that
it is because it's the oil spill area? Also, if that is the reason, is
there an estimated date as to when they will begin demolition in those
areas?

I would like to go on with the new chapter in my life but how can that be
done when the old chapter still hangs over my head???

Thanks,
Rena
