We have been stepping up for months so that we can do the right thing- there
are no end runs going on about the regulations but the process is controlled
at levels much higher than the local level and our responses and feedback
have resulted in many adjustments to a whole host of issues that benefit the
recovery of the residents and the parish.

Either adopt the new regulations or don't.  Being a tax payer for many
years, this so called free money isn't free I already paid for it, many
times over.  We need to do the right thing and not try some end run.  Why
didn,t the council step up before now or is it they are trying to keep their
seats.  And yes I am a lettle bitter.
