your 10 - 30% damage and B zone status frees you from any permit concerns-
the receipts issue was referring to documentation of work in case you would
sell your property to the LRA.  You are good to go.

Can anyone help me with this?  We have been working on our house in St.
Bernard for several months.  Gutting and cleaning when we can.  We have
purchased a home somewhere else.  We have put on a new roof on the house and
on the garage.  We plan on selling the house.  We cut the grass weekly.  I
have gotten several calls about getting a permit before Aug. 29th. Two weeks
ago my husband went to the permits office in Chalmette.  He brought in the
receipts showing the work we have done on the house.  They told him he
didn't need a permit.  Just hold on to the receipts.  We are in Zone B.  Had
4 1/2 ft water.  10% to 30% damage.  Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
