I don't know how far in advance the planning commission works up an agenda.
All I can say in this particular case, I received the email on the morning
of the 12th, but was not able to send it to the list until the 13th.

I was thinking the same thing when I sent it, but really didn't have any
reason not to send it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this email is dated 09/13/06, giving notice
that:   

"Planning Commission meets on Tuesday, Sept 12 at 4pm in the brown tent
behind the admin building. On the agenda today is the public hearing for the
request for the Meraux tract of land to be rezoned from commercial to light
industrial. Public comments will be received at the meeting and the
applicant will explain the purpose." 

Why was this not disclosed prior to the 13th so the public would have been
aware of the meeting???
