[StBernard] demolition derby

Will someone please clarify what this means? Are the rules changing? I'm
not in the parish presently.

I'm in the Murphy Oil Spill area represented by Sidney Torres. I've signed a
demolition form on August 11th. Are they saying that what I signed to **have
my home demolished** at the Government complex--a "null-'n-void" transaction
agreement? Are they looking for more involvement? We're getting a little
sick 'n tired of waiting in line and/or coming into town to reward
incompetance if what I understand is true.

Thanks, mj.

--------------------

"St. Bernard Parish residents who are claimants in the Murphy oil spill
class-action lawsuit and are being represented by counsel can soon register
to have their homes demolished for free by St. Bernard Parish government.
But a new right of entry agreement must be signed and a letter of no
objection must be obtained from their attorney of record.

Claimants can soon pick up a copy of the right to entry agreement,
completion instructions and sample letter to be given to the lawyer in the
parish Public Works Department on the second-floor of the government complex
at 8201 West Judge Perez Drive or can soon be downloaded by computer from
the parish website at www.sbpg.net. The forms will be available in a few
days.

The attorney of record presented with the letter of no objection can forward
it to St. Bernard Parish government.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved the demolition and
removal of homes in the Murphy oil spill area and the new right of entry
agreement.
The Murphy class-action lawsuit is pending in federal court in New Orleans."
