Hey Westley,
 
The October 15th deadline is based on the projected time frame for late
signers to get in before the 10% cost share is imposed.  We have already
started asking for an extension but there is no way of knowing what that
will be-  if FEMA grants an extension then we can grant the extension-  if
not those who sign up for demolition after the October 15 deadline are
subjected to a 10% cost share for demolition if it is required of the
parish.  Many people have rescinded because of the LRA and the reality is
that a demolished house does not inhibit or interfere with the LRA program.

I forgot to send this last night.  The Parish has signs posted around the
Government Complex that October 15 will be the last day to sign up for
demolition.
