I would like to address this to Mike Hulse and whoever else can help me
with these answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even Sidney Torres
I would like to comment on the decision of not buying to the forty arpent
canal, because I have pictures of how bad the oil was. In my home, behind
my home in my neighbors pool and behind the homes on Jacob's wooded area,
also in the forty there were booms out there for at least 4 months later
collecting the oil. Also the land between St. Bernard highway and Judge
Perez was being bought out before the hurricane so now it sounds like
insurance money that Murphy has for the hurricane is being used . Hum
guess the hurricane was convient. It was very unusual when I went to the
end by the forty and ask the EPA man if he would look at the houses and he
and I walked on the grass how it smelled just like soap used to clean up
oil and my driveway was as clean as I had before the hurricane when almost
everyone else had mud at least 2 inches deep. There was evidence of
fibers from the pads (diapers) used to clean up oil all over the bricks.
Yes I work in a Oil Refinery. And I guess if you do not know any better you
think they are really helping us out. Maybe whatever parties did the
agreeing would like to buy the homes from the twenty to the forty arpent
canal? Probably no one will even remark to this, but I really feel this is
St Bernard politics all over again.
