Mailed form two days after it was released because their website was down.
Got the LRA letter on Oct 14, first available Sunday appt is Nov 19th.
Mother in law sent hers by registered mail at same time, got letter on Oct
14, called an hour after I did, and got Nov 26 for first available Sunday.
Parents mailed their registered letter at same time, and are still waiting
for the appointment letter.
 
I was told by someone who asked the LRA counselor about the order of being
called and he was told all mail is in a bin and picked up at random. Someone
told me they called to try and be sure LRA got their application, and was
told there was no way of their knowing. I would suggest return receipt
requested if you mail it so you know it at least got to the LRA, otherwise
the only confirmation you have that it got there is when your appt. letter
arrives.
