Can you advise as to the person I should contact to request street lighting
for the 3800 and 3900 blocks of Corinne Avenue?  There are people staying
back there either in the second floor of their homes or in FEMA trailers,
and the lack of lighting increases the potential for crime.  Our
neighborhood association would also like to bring some sense of normalcy by
hanging Christmas lights on the neutral grounds as we have in prior years,
but without the street lights we will only be able to light up the first two
blocks.  I also know that we would have more of our neighbors returning
sooner if the street lights in these two blocks were working. 
 
Also, is poison being distributed or placed in the abandoned houses to help
control the increasing "rat population"?  If not, is this something we could
look to FEMA to pay for as it presents a health and safety situation and is
no doubt causing some residents to delay their return.
