	I keep reading comments about the increasing number of tires lying
around
	the parish, but I doubt that we will be able to catch someone in the
act.
	At one time the Mayor of Grand Isle was using old tires as a
"buffer" to
	protect the coast.  From what I remember, the pilot program was a
success.
	Perhaps Mr. Rodriguez could contact the Mayor and see if he wants
some more
	tires?  Just a thought..........

Buffer? How about lining the edge of the MRGO. Eventually we will have a
tire levy. (better than a tired levy)
