this very issue was just recently discussed and the administration has
agreed to begin the process of levying the fines according to our ordinance
on blighted houses that have not complied with the minimum standards of the
securing of properties.

I wondered if anyone knew the criteria for homes that were gutted last year
but have since been abandoned.  Are they allowed to stay like that
indefinitely, or are there going to be neighborhood stardards with a time
line when they will be slated for fines and/or demolition?   MsSimms
