[StBernard] Biloxi Marsh Lands forms new subsidiary

METAIRIE - Oil exploration company Biloxi Marsh Lands Corp. today said it
has formed a new subsidiary, B & L Exploration LLC to develop five drilling
prospects in St. Bernard Parish. 
 
Biloxi formed the subsidiary with its sister company, Lake Eugenie Land and
Development Inc., which owns 50,000 acres next to 90,000 acres of marsh
lands BML plumbs for oil and gas in St. Bernard Parish. 
  
Lake Eugenie and Biloxi Marsh Lands formed in 1903 and split in the late
1920s. 
Biloxi will retain 75 percent ownership of B & L with Lake Eugenie owning 25
percent. 
The Manti Group, a Corpus Christi, Texas-based oil exploration company, was
contracted to drill at least three of the five prospects. The first well is
expected to be spudded by Feb. 15, 2007..
